Are you looking to spice up your coffee game? Well, look no further! This Mexican Mocha aka Mexican hot chocolate will put the perfect amount of pep in your step.
The spice is mild enough to not knock your socks off but adds just the right amount of kick you help you remember this isn’t your mama’s mocha. However, the heat can be turned up a notch by adding in cayenne pepper as well.
So go open up your spice cabinet, cool some coffee, and get ready to shake things up a bit!
How to Make an Iced Mexican Mocha

Now, let’s get started by setting out everything we’re going to need.
Let’s begin by collecting our ingredients. First, you’ll need 1/2 cup of strong brewed cold-coffee, 1/2 cup milk (we used whole), 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 cup water, and some ice.
After that, whisk all of your spices and sugar together.
Next, add water and microwave for 30 seconds.Stir well to make a “syrup.”
Next, pour your ice and coffee into your cup and add the spiced “syrup” once it has cooled.
Finally, pour your milk over it, stir well, and enjoy!
